The First Step Toward
a Healthy Captive Care Culture
EOharmony is a specialized manufacturing company,
researching nutrition and health for exotic animals, including reptiles and amphibians.
The company was co-founded by Jeong-O, a lifelong keeper of insects, reptiles, and amphibians,
and I-Su, a nutrition expert with experience at the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (KFDA).
At the time, much of the feed on the market simply applied nutritional standards designed for dogs and cats,
often failing to consider the unique physiological characteristics and captive environments of exotic animals.
This realization led to a fundamental question:
"Why isn't there a feed that priorities palatability and safety while being scientifically formulated for the specific needs of individual species? "
This question became the starting point for EOharmony.
Reptiles, in particular, have vastly different nutritional requirements depending on the species and individual.
Since health issues are often not easily visible externally, it is a field that demands precise nutritional management and constant health monitoring.
Recognizing the supply shortage in the global exotic pet feed market and the potential for expansion, our founders, a professional breeder and a former KFDA specialist, have joined forces to foster a better captive care culture and establish a new ecosystem for exotic pet companionship.
